Obituary of Beverly Helms

Beverly “Bev” Helms, of Tulsa, went to be with the Lord January 14, 2016 at the age of 62 after a valiant battle with cancer. Bev was born April 14, 1953 in Tulsa, OK to parents Leon Waters and Lois (Heath) Waters. Bev was one of 6 children. Bev has lived in Los Angeles, CA and Tulsa, OK. She married Danny Helms and was greatly saddened and disappointed by his early passing. She later married Tony Oldham. Bev held various positions in the clothing industry throughout her career, ending as a Regional VP at County Seat. She enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, attending family gatherings, bedazzling and collecting angels. Bev did not have children of her own but she enjoyed spoiling all the children in the family, especially at Christmas. Bev was preceded in death by her husband Danny Helms; father Leon Waters; and step-mother Edwyna Waters. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Lois Berube and pops Victor Berube of Sapulpa, OK; former spouse Tony Oldham of Tulsa, OK; brother Randy Waters and wife Julie of Skiatook, OK; brother Rod Kidwell and wife Ruby of Tulsa, OK; sister Melody Barry and husband Wayne of Broken Arrow, OK; Cindi Ford of Muskogee, OK; Jessi Wacoche and husband Willie of Muskogee, OK; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her pets Chi Chi and Babe. Funeral Services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home with James Waters officiating. Casket Bearers will be Zack Ricker, Jeremiah Waters, Raul Lopez, Travis Barry, Nick Edwards and Alex Ricker. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Tuesday, January 19th from 12-8 pm.
