Obituary of Katherine Lei Edwards

Katherine Lei (Katie) Edwards, 36, was born March 6, 1979, and passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Tulsa, on Monday, January 18, 2016. A graduate of Sapulpa High School and American University in Washington, DC, Katie worked as a paralegal in DC and Chicago, before returning home to Oklahoma. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Klumpp and stepfather, Ralph Klumpp, stepbrother and stepsister, Ethan Klumpp and Elizabeth Klumpp, all of Tulsa, grandmother, Betty Edwards, aunts Karen Williams, Sandra Brown and Cookie Jobe, all of Sapulpa, cousins Kacy Kirby, Stephanie Culver, Steve Brown, Melinda Jobe and Brad Jobe. Katie was preceded in death by her father, Danny Edwards, and grandparents, L.E. Edwards, William Robert (Bob) Garringer and Juanita Garringer. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 21, at 2:00 p.m. at Green Hill Funeral Home, Sapulpa.
