Obituary of William Russell Kendall

William “Billy” Russell Kendall began his journey in Tulsa, OK on January 2, 1959. He was one of 4 children born to George and Faye Kendall. Billy gained his Angel Wings January 20, 2016, at the age of 57. Billy attended the Sapulpa School for the Handicapped and was a Boy Scout. He participated in the Special Olympics and won several awards. He lived in Mounds, OK and worked at SHOW on the assembly line. Billy loved horses, firetrucks, bowling, trips to WalMart and a cat named Meow. His favorite television shows were The Dukes of Hazard and Emergency. He loved people and enjoyed having company. He was a bubbly, happy person who enjoyed giving hugs and kisses. Billy was preceded in death by his parents George and Faye Kendall; sister Barbara McGrew; and nephew Porky Kendall. He leaves to cherish his memory sister Wanda “Kay” Smith and husband Elmer; brother Frank Kendall and wife Marie; nieces Debbie Tricinella; Pam Stoll; Wendy Murray; and Brenda Aguirre; nephews Ronnie Smith; and Mike Kendall. He is also survived by 17 great-nieces and nephews and 27 great, great-nieces and nephews. Billy was a very special and lovable person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is scheduled on Saturday from 12-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Billy’s name at the Kiefer Fire Department.
