Obituary of Thomas Wayne Phillips

Thomas “Tommy” Wayne Phillips was born to Lauren and Verma Lee Phillips on May 21, 1957 in Dos Palos, California. He started a family in 1976 and soon moved to Oklahoma, where he spent the majority of his life. He was a very hard worker and retired from Steel Fabrication at the age of 35. He loved woodworking and you could almost always find him behind the wheel of a car. Tommy was a very loving father, grandfather, son and brother. Tommy passed away on January 24, 2016 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK after fighting a long battle with liver disease. He was preceded in death by his father Lauren Phillips and his grandsons William and Thomas Richardson. He is survived by his mother Verma Lee Phillips of CA; brothers Sonny Phillips of CA; and Larry Phillips of AZ; sister Nancy Phillips of CA; son Dustin Phillips and his wife Krista of Sapulpa; daughter Nancy Manning and her husband Bobby of Sapulpa; daughter Tomi Richardson and her husband Theron of Sapulpa; granddaughters Lauren, Paige and Lily; grandsons Justin, Robert, Hunter, Brayden and Devin; as well as many other family members that are spread out from Oklahoma to California. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
