Obituary of Sylvia Dolores Thomas

Sylvia Dolores Thomas, age 72, of Kellyville, OK went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 9, 2016. She passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends. Dolores was born August 20, 1943 in California to Vergil and Bonnie Romine. Dolores was the second of 5 children. After graduating from Kellyville High School she married Ronald Q. Thomas on May 12, 1961. They lived at their home in Kellyville from 1963 on, raising their 3 children. Dolores loved spending as much time as possible with family. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the Rocky Mountains. She worked many years for the Creek County Election board as a judge and at Linwood Pattern Shop as well as a housewife. She helped care for 2 precious little girls that she loved like her own. Dolores is survived by her husband Ronald Q. Thomas; son James Lee Thomas and wife Shelley of Oklahoma City, their sons Nick Thomas and wife Chelle of Edmond, OK, Brennan Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter Ronda Sue Thomas of Kellyville, OK and Brian Stevens; daughter Tina Marie (Thomas) Henke and Aaron Webb of Sapulpa, OK and her sons Noah Henke and wife Heather, and Jacob Henke of Kellyville, OK. She is also survived by brother Gary Romine and wife Susie of Sapulpa, OK; brother Jr. Romine of Kellyville, OK; and sister Patsy A. (Romine) Hoover of Sapulpa, OK; sister-in-law April Romine of Tulsa, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and too many friends to count. She was preceded in death by both parents and brother Lonnie Romine. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at Faith Baptist Church of Slick (23550 W. Hwy 16 Bristow, OK 74010). Visitation is scheduled from 12-8 p.m. on Saturday and 1-8 p.m. on Sunday at Green Hill Funeral Home.
