Please share a memory of LINDA to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Linda Lee Catlett was born on October 10, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Clarehouse in Tulsa. Linda lived her life with passion, courage and humor. She never met a stranger and always offered a helping hand or kind word to anyone who needed it. She asks that we remember her smiles and laughter and remember the joy she brought into our lives rather than with sadness. She said she would see us soon enough. Linda fell in love with Ray Henry Catlett and married him on October 10, 1963 at the age of 19. Ray was in Hawaii serving our country in the Army. He sent her a package with a proposal and an engagement ring. Of course she said yes. On July 25th, 1968, she gave birth to her son Michael Ray Catlett. Her favorite memory is when she looked at Michael and he looked at her. She said that she didn't know who was more afraid of the other. Linda was the owner of Linda Lee's Beauty Salon in Sapulpa. Her salon was a favorite among Sapulpa residents for many years. In 2006, Linda celebrated the wedding of her son Michael to her friend JoAnna , stating that she had planned the whole thing. Linda is survived by her loving husband Ray Henry Catlett; son, Michael Catlett; daughter in-law, JoAnna Catlett; grandson, Noah Catlett; and her dear friends, Faun Baldridge, Sharon Tiger, Phyllis Douglas, and so many more.
