I got to know Janie when Debbie and James Heller were married. Janie was Debbie's aunt, and her matron of honor. Jerre Cole and I were bridesmaids. We went shopping for material. Debbie had picked out a pattern and colors. Janie was so much fun and had so many funny things to say about the upcoming nuptials. When we arrived at the church and got ready, Janie was so beautiful and so sweet. It was a beautiful service. Then Janie was back to cracking jokes and teasing Debbie at the reception. I will never forget the fun we had making those dresses and at the reception.

Janie was always so much fun to be around. She could tell a story and make it very interesting! I was able to help Janie over the last several years with her houses! That lady could keep a house looking brand new,she was always so passionate about people, her home, her family, and was always willing to give a hand wherever needed. The inspiration, and determiniation that she had for life will be something that she will leave to all of her kids, grandkids, and everyone she was close too. She was one classy lady! I know she had a dream to travel,in the past few years, and she loved sharing stories about those fabulous trips she was able to go on. Rob and Brenda maade her last few years very special to her, and I know how grateful she was for that. Always full of life, and a laughter that was very contagious! I will miss you Janie, now get up there and get my memaw's white hair fixed!! Prayers and comfort go to all of the family!! One classy lady that will be greatly missed!

Janie was a giver. She always placed other people's needs and wants before herself. We used to spend time playing cards, donimoes, and just laughing. I'll never forget her laugh. I loved her like a sister. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mel and Donnie

i am sorry for the loss of your mom. I have some pretty funny memories from when she kept me and Jennifer Heslar a couple summers. From playing in her high heels to feeding the dog our Vienna Sausages (we didn't care so much for them). We always fought over who got to take the wrappers off of the perm rollers. I think we kept her entertained, but she was so good to us and it was never boring. She will be missed!

What a wonderful woman & mother. Our prayers & thoughts are with you kids in the loss of such a precious mom. Janie enjoyed life & her time with Donna. We would see those 2 girls and they were always laughing. I will never forget when I was going through chemo and lost my hair , got to close to a open stove and melted my wig, called Janie she laughed and said we can fix it and she did. I was forever grateful to her. Until we meet again God bless you my dear friend.
