Obituary of Beverly Sue Cross

Beverly Cross, 60 years old, went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2016. She was a devoted mother, sister, nanny, aunt and friend to many. She will be greatly missed. Services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 10:00 am at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Bill Oldham will be officiating. Visitation will be at Green Hill on Tuesday, April 26th, from 9 am until 8 pm. The family will be available from 5-8 pm to greet friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Lillian Cross and her brother-in-law Bob Lucas. Survivors include her only daughter, Loy Powell; grandchildren Keyla, Haley and Ryan Powell; great-granddaughter Khloee Corley; her only sister, Pat Lucas; niece Angie McGuire and husband Ross; her beloved dog Piddle; and friend Randy Hunt. Our hearts are broken but we know she is celebrating her Eternal Life in Heaven. Beverly was such a beautiful person inside and out. She loved everyone and had a special way to touch your heart. Beverly lived life to the fullest and always had a wonderful, positive spirit. In lieu of flowers the family is asking donations be made to Green Hill Funeral Home for funeral expenses for Beverly.
