Obituary of Jackson Homer Sanders

Jackson Homer Sanders was born in Burden, Kansas on September 6, 1924, to Homer William and Lottie Myrtle Sanders. He went to be with the Lord after a battle with cancer on May 11, 2016, at the age of 91. Jackson worked as a rental property owner/manager. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served during WWII. He enjoyed woodworking and fishing. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Lottie Sanders and by his wife Ozella Sanders. He is survived by 4 children and their spouses, Allen and Regina Mills; Tony and Judy Sanders; Roger and Judith Sanders; and Mike and Caryol Waltrip; grandchildren, Mike and Michelle Naylor; Jennifer Waltrip; Tim and Robin Kreps; Greg and Amy Smith; and Rod and Shanna Johnson; great-grandchildren Mason Naylor; Peyton Harper; Morgan Harper; Dakota Kreps; Skyy Johnson; Zayden Johnson; Rayden Kreps; and Steven Smith; great, great-grandchild Harper Kreps; and close family friend, Betty Sledge. Graveside Services are scheduled at 10:00 am Friday, May 13, 2016 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
