Obituary of Clark D. Boyd, Sr.

Clark Dale Boyd, Sr. was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July28, 1946 to Thomas Jefferson Boyd and Wilma (Snelson) Boyd. He went to meet his Lord and Savior on May 18, 2016. Clark loved life. He was never one to complain. He refused to live on the negative side of life. He was always upbeat and positive. He often said, “Life is what you make it.” He always gave the right answer to any question with the smallest amount of words needed. He always tried to do the right thing with respect and dignity towards his fellow man. He always kept a good spirit. His family hopes they can walk close behind, in his footsteps and retain the values he instilled in them, striving each day to obtain a character like his. We are better people because we knew him. He was preceded in death by parents Tom and Wilma Boyd; and brother Mike Boyd. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Boyd; son Clark Dale Boyd, Jr. and wife Jan; grandson Tyler Boyd; and granddaughter Kenya Boyd. He was loved dearly by his family and will be missed. Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Cemetery Chapel.
