Obituary of David Warren Horton

David Warren Horton was born on December 22, 1958 in Martinez, California to Al and Rachel Horton. He was raised by Al and Trudy Horton. He was one of six children. David was a U.S. Army Veteran Combat Engineer, serving in Germany. The lifelong occupation of CNC machinist was his work passion; He took great pride machining intricate parts for the oil field services. David met and married the love of his life, Pamela, on November 17, 2007 and they were together for eight wonderful years. David loved OU Football almost as much as his family. Another great passion of David’s life was cooking for his family and friends, who were the benefactors of jalapeno briskets, ribs, stuffed jalapenos among other tasty dishes. David made his transition on June 15, 2016 at 3:10 a.m. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Jane Horton, his parents, Al and Trudy Horton, and five siblings, Mary Horton, Bobby Horton, Steve King, Linda Lutherbeck and Joseph Worrell, step daughter, Kelly Noblitt, and numerous nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his mother, Rachel. He was a great, loving, honorable person who will be miss by many.
