Obituary of Cynthia Jo Hill
At the age of 59, Wednesday June 29th, 2016, Cynthia Jo Hill went to fly with the angels.
Cindy was a devoted wife, loving sister, daughter and mother, spoiling grandmother and great-grandmother, a loyal friend, an amazing chef, creative crafter, a loving spirit,
a bullheaded teenager who grew into an iron-willed woman who gave Cancer one heck of a fight, even in her final months. To really know her was to love her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Dusty Raylene
She is survived by her husband and soulmate Chris Hill, her parents Marlene and Frank Oehlberg her Brother Jeff Oehlberg and his Wife Sue, Her sister Cheryl White along with her husband Steve, two daughters, Angela Pike with her husband Eric, Candeana Quiggins, her three sons Jimmy Hill, Michael Hill, Hollis Quiggins her step daughter Michelle Andersen, her 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren who were her world, her best friend and soul sister Kath Hill along with her children and grandchildren, her bonus children and grandchildren as Cindy called.
There is nowhere that she would rather be than here with all of us. Over the past six years as she fought cancer so hard, she showed us all with her powerful displays of courage, strength, and bravery. Leaving us all in awe of her.
No matter how sick she was or how bad she was hurting she always put others needs before her own.
She loved all of her family and bonus family, and she loved them all unconditionally.
She would say, that if you need her you can look and you will find her, in the evening sunset or the early spring flowers, in the garden planting new beginnings, fluttering amongst the butterflies. You can hear her singing a beautiful song among her favorite birds, you can see her soul bursting in the beautiful colors of Fall, or join her in an adventure in a good book, smell her in a kitchen filled with the smell of fresh baked bread and cakes, If you need to feel her, you can feel her comfort wrapped in the warm of a blanket like the ones she makes.
She would tell us, "remember do your best, never give up, fight and fight again with everything in you for the things you want and believe, don't ever forget every day matters and so do you, follow your dreams and make something amazing out of your life".
She would tell us to not be sad or mad instead be happy for the time we had.
She would want us all to know and to be comforted that today is FREE, she is no longer in pain, no longer captive in her bed. Right now she is happy and dancing her way to the car to take that drive, hope she goes far! I am sure she is on her the way to the garden to gather something to whip up a heavenly meal.
I am also sure she has already started crocheting for the man upstairs a new gown as we all know her cooking will have Him bigger around.
As always she will love us through it! She will love us always!
