Obituary of Patricia Ann Daniels

Patricia Ann (Scott) Daniels passed away in Claremore, Oklahoma July 7, 2016. She was born June 9, 1929 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John and Opal (Kirwin) Scott. Patricia married Vernon “Trigger” Daniels July 13, 1946 and the couple spent 60 years together. They moved to Oklahoma in 1963 and settled in the Berryhill community. She spent most of her life as a homemaker but for several years she worked as a volunteer writer for the Tulsa County News, sharing news, stories and events for the Berryhill area. She made the best coconut pie with “calf’s slobber” (meringue) and sent cards for every occasion to everyone. She would do anything for anyone and loved taking pictures of her family. Her true focus in life was her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Daniels; son Dennis Daniels; Daughter Theta Jean Daniels; parents John and Opal Scott; and brothers Martin and William Scott. She is survived by her son Donald Daniels and wife Brenda of Claremore, OK; daughter Susie Phillips of Sand Springs; grandchildren, Shelley Daniels, Travis Daniels, Kari Fry, Lisa Prather, Brian Daniels, Russell Phillips; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was loved dearly by all her family and she will be greatly missed. Services are scheduled at 2:00 pm Monday, July 11, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
