She spent over 10 years in Chandler Oklahoma and moved to Tulsa in 1973. She worked as an accountant for several years before opening her own firm, Accounting Professionals, Inc. She semi-retired a few years ago but could never completely give up doing taxes and helping people with their monthly accounts. She was a master of money and loved helping people. She loved traveling around the world with her husband Patrick, an engineer, and often spoke of their trip to Ireland. For the first time in her life she got to fly first class and often said “That is how I should always get to travel.” They were able to travel over most of the United States but were unable to fulfill her last bucket list item of traveling to Maine to eat Lobster. But her favorite place was always to come home to her 10 acres in Mannford. There will be two (2) celebrations of her life: July 30th at 7550 S. 337th West Ave. in Mannford at 2:00 p.m. and another on August 13th at Northridge Church of Christ in Shawnee Oklahoma at 2:00 p.m. Her smile, laughter and guidance will be greatly missed and there is not enough room in all of the internet, to express what a great wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother (Nana) and friend she was.
