Obituary of Brenda Sue Adams

On the wintry morning of January 24, 1968, Brenda Sue Adams arrived to join her parents Bill and Pat Adams and her sister Carri. 18 months later her little sister Andrea joined them. Brenda and her family were affectionately known as Bill, Pat and ABC. She was a beautiful little girl with sparkling blue eyes, her grandpa’s dimples and a gorgeous smile. In her early twenties two of Brenda’s blessings arrived: Michael and Meghan. They were the light of her eyes until her two grandbabies, Brayden and Beckham, stole her heart. Now another little blessing is on the way! Brenda absolutely adored being a mom and “Brendie” to her babies. There is no doubt she felt they were her greatest accomplishment. Brenda supported Michael and Meghan in all their Kiefer school functions, parties, sporting events and volunteered wherever she was needed. She was a founding member of S.T.E.P. and could be seen working in the concession stands at most Kiefer ballgames. She and her family loved traveling. They enjoyed snow skiing and visiting Disney World, but Brenda’s favorite place to visit was England. Her last and most special trip was taking her family to Hawaii this past May. Brenda will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She leaves behind her daddy and stepmom, Bill and Joyce Adams, her children, Michael Ralston and Meghan Ralston Brown (Heath), grandchildren Brayden and Beckham Ralston and Baby Brown. Also, her sisters, Carri Adams Ralston (David), Andrea Adams, Renee Calvin Voss (Jerry), and brother Derek Calvin (Tracie), as well as her niece Brandi Morgan (John), nephew Blake Feeback (Cindy) and her great nieces Madison, Mallory, Maggie and Brooklyn. Brenda was also loved by many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mom, Pat Bilby Adams, grandparents William and Irma Adams, her Uncle and Aunt Orville and Jo Cook, and grandmother Shirley Fitzsimmons Dose. Brenda wanted to say a special thank you to her cousin Lisa Clark, Aunt Barbara Hembree, and friends, Julie Mathis and Kay Morgans. A celebration of Brenda will be held on Monday, July 25th, at 10:00 am at the Sapulpa First Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to either Oklahoma Project Woman (oklahomajprojectwoman.org) or Clarehouse (clarehouse.org). Let your smile change the world but never let the world change your smile. Friends can meet with Brenda's family from 3-5 pm on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home. The family has entrusted the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. 9182242312/www.greenhillok.com
