Obituary of Dolores M Madewell

Dolores "Dee" Marie Madewell was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 6, 1935 to Eugene Lloyd and Gladys Viola Hall. She passed from this life on July 21, 2016 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Carl Madewell and brother Floyd Hall. She is survived by her son Randy Gibson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and daughters Gena Johnson of Vidor, Texas, and Sheila Bottoms of Lenapah, Oklahoma and their spouses, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Geneva Chilcoat of Kiefer, OK and brother Raymond Hall of Owasso, OK and their spouses along with numerous nieces and nephews and their spouses and children. Dee grew up in West Tulsa and attended Eugene Field Elementary, Clinton Junior High, and Webster High School. She worked as a mail clerk for the Tulsa Post Office for 26 years on the night shift. She enjoyed quilting, ceramics, and sewing. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, July 25, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home.
