Obituary of Janice Kay Parker

Janice Kay (Sherwood) Parker was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on March 28, 1950 to John F. and Betty Lou (Miller) Sherwood. She went to be with the Lord July 31, 2016. Janice was preceded in death by her parents John and Betty Sherwood and son Steven Ray. She is survived by son Brian Ray. Janice was liked by everyone. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was kind, gentle and generous to everyone. She liked all of her son Brian’s friends and enjoyed being around them. She was down to earth but also very independent. She loved music and enjoyed both classic rock and country music. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening. Janice will be deeply missed by both family and friends. Funeral Services are scheduled at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation at the funeral home is from 11 am – 8 pm on Wednesday.
