Loy M. Brown, age 81, died on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her family home of 46 years in Owasso, OK. She was born January 28, 1935 near Vinita OK to Charles and Ruth Osburn and was number six of eight children. Her parents operated a dairy farm 8 miles east of Vinita and as a young girl she rode the family horses, Pat and Spot, swam in the creek on the farm, attended the Vinita Assembly of God Church, worked with her family on the dairy farm and was involved in school activities such as 4‐H and basketball. Loy graduated from Cleora High School in 1952 where she held the class officer position of school reporter from Sophomore through graduation her Senior year. After retirement they continued as Associate Pastors at Collinsville Assembly of God. Loy was an accomplished pianist, singer, songwriter and piano teacher who taught her children and many of the Owasso youth how to appreciate music.
