Obituary of William Lee Snow, Sr

William Lee Snow, Sr., of Sapulpa, passed away October 18, 2016 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Tulsa on September 6, 1947 to parents Charles and Lillie (Chinn) Snow. William, like his mother, was always on the move. His usual drink was coffee. He was very mechanical and enjoyed working on cars, trucks, motorcycles and lawnmowers. He liked to tinker. He could be fun and enjoyed joking and bantering with friends and family. He enjoyed a good conversation and was known as a “talker.” He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Some of his favorite fishing holes were at Pretty Water Lake, Sahoma Lake and even some ponds. His children have fond memories of vacations spent camping together. William was preceded in death by his father Charles Dewey Snow; his mother Lillie May Smithey; son William R. Eldridge; and brother Marvin Snow. He is survived by daughter Patricia Bailey; son William L. Snow, Jr.; daughter Felisha O’Hara-Sellers; sister Wanda Smith; sister Minnie Isley; sister Shirley Isley; brother Otto R. Leonard; step-daughter Carla DuBuc; step-daughter LaDonna Glen; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
