Obituary of Rodger Dale McDonald
Rodger McDonald, 70, passed away at his home in Mounds on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 after a massive stroke. He is survived by his wife Sandi and their 3 daughters; Stacey McDonald, Dawna McDonald, and Shannon McDonald, all of Mounds; 4 grandchildren, Sierrah Ray, Shylow Strickland, Riley McDonald, and Mason McDonald; 2 great grandchildren, Corah June Ray and Briar Thomas Ray. He is also survived by his brother, Ron McDonald of Ponca City and his wife Vicki and many nieces and nephews; his mother-in-law Patty Daniels, of Sapulpa; Sisters-in-laws and brother-in-law, Hazel Kirk, Debbie Cassiday, Johnny Daniels, all of Mounds.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, the 19th of November at Keifer Community Free Will Baptist Church. Reverend Dickie Parnell and Reverend Steve Lamberson officiating. The family would like to give a special Thank You to New Century Hospice for all they did to care for Rodger. Also a special Thank you to the first responders with Mounds Fire Department for their kindness, patience, and much needed assistance these past few months. Thanks to Gina Steinman for all the love you have for our family. We appreciate you so much.
