Obituary of Wayne Neal Carter
Wayne Neal Carter of Sand Springs went to be with the Lord November 25, 2016 at the age of 69. Wayne was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma June 27, 1947 to parents Paul W. and Alma Sue (Keith) Carter.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father Paul Wayne Carter; and sister Paula Lundy. He is survived by his wife Sandra Elaine Carter; daughter Jentry Carter; mother Alma Carter; brother Keith Carter and wife Carol; sister Conie Morgan; grandchildren Peyton Storz, Daxton Storz and Pyerston Storz; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wayne was a Christian and he loved the Lord. He served in the U.S. Army and received a Purple Heart. He was very proud of his military service. He worked as a lumbar salesman. He enjoyed playing the drum, fishing and helping the veterans through his work at the DAV. He loved spending time with his wife of 45 years, Sandi, and his daughter Jentry. He liked playing Frisbee with his Dog Leroy and spending time with his Brother-in-law, Louie Walker. The two were great buddies. He was a very giving person and had a wonderful personality. Wayne was dearly loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Weddington Cemetery in Weddington, Arkansas (near Siloam Springs). Visitation is scheduled Tuesday from 12 – 8 pm at Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa. The family has entrusted the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. 9182242312
