Obituary of Nancy R Caudle

Nancy Ruth Caudle, age 78, formerly of Mounds, departed this life Monday, December 12, 2016. Nancy was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on July 18, 1938. She graduated from Mounds High School in 1956 and went on to graduate from Northeastern State College in 1962 with her Bachelors Degree in Education and again in 1968 with her Masters of Teaching. Nancy retired from teaching in the state of Oklahoma as well as the state of Texas. The last years of her life she worked at Jenny Craig. Nancy had a true gift and love for writing. She wrote and produced many plays during her teaching career. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred J. Caudle, Sr. and Minola F. Caudle; and by great-grandson James Ostin Broadhead. She is survived by her daughter, DeAnna Newberry and Husband Jimmy Newberry; son Scott Young; three granddaughters and two great grandchildren; brother, Fred J. Caudle, Jr. and wife Ann Caudle; two nieces and one nephew. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
