Obituary of Shirley Jean Brown

Shirley was born in Dentonville, Oklahoma to Richard and Iva Baughn. She had two daughters, Kim and Pam. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and siblings Loie, Freda, Joe, Inez, Eva, Pearl, Bill, Alma and Clovis Dale. She is survived by siblings Irene, Lorene, Tuggle (Phyllis) and Rita (Jon), daughters Kim McDaniel (Randy), Pam Robinson (Randy), grandson Brandon Deaver and great- grandson Joshua, grand-daughter Mandy Deaver (Tony) and great-grandson’s Brayen and Mikel; grand-daughter Erin Beck and grand-daughter Shannon Beck. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog and ever loyal companion Gabby. Shirley worked professionally as an Executive Secretary for several firms but one of her favorite roles was with St. Francis Hospital in Medical Records. A life-long St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, Shirley often recalled her younger years of listening to ballgames on a transistor radio, while lying on a blanket outside under a big shade tree. Though fiercely independent Shirley was passionate about family and loved them deeply, always holding a special place in her heart for her father.
