Obituary of Glenda Lea Smith
Glenda Lea (Crumbliss) Smith of Langley, Oklahoma was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Lee Crumbliss and Viola (Forehand) Reynolds on September 21, 1946. Glenda went home to be with the Lord and Gene on December 26, 2016.
Glenda attended and graduated from Nowata Public Schools in 1964. She married Earnest Eugene “Gene” Smith on March 5, 1966, and the couple was blessed with 4 children. She worked as a patient account representative. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, antique shopping and yard selling, as well as spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter Dawana McNutt and husband Mark, son Steve Smith and wife, Regina, daughter Shannon Smith, daughter Lisa Smith Copeland and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Kyle Campbell, Kayla Smith O’Brian, Ashley Rodgers Sowder, Tyson Smith, Trina Smith, Kevin Smith, Nathan Copeland, Sydney Copeland; great-grandchildren Kaylee Campbell, Kagen Campbell, Madyson Smith, Mylee O’Brian, Bentley Campbell, Calen Sowder and Claire Sowder; brothers Gary Crumbliss of Nowata and Randy Crumbliss of Bali, Indonesia, as well as many cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents Lee Crumbliss and Viola Reynolds, and husband Gene Smith.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery in Mounds, Oklahoma. Visitation is scheduled from 12 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 28th at Green Hill Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m.
