Hello Tommy!
I am still here and still missing you horribly. Time has not helped to ease my broken heart. It seems that no matter what I try nothing helps to ease the pain of your passing. I try to be strong, like you, Daddy, and Momma were, but when my mind goes looking for you or thinks of something I want to say to you I just break down when reality hits me. I promise I will try to do better.
I still love and miss you, little brother. Watch over me if you can. Enjoy that music in Heaven! I love you still...
Mary

I remember leaving for college at the age of 18. I was sad because I didn't have a car to drive. All of my friends had cars but I had not made enough money to buy one yet.
As I stood at the door of my Mother's house, telling my family goodbye, Tommy stood patiently waiting for his turn. He was about 3 years old & very articulate. He had his little hands folded behind his back.
With a big smile he brought his little hands forward and lifted them up to me. In his hands was a little metal car; his prized toy. He said, "Sissy, now you don't have to be sad because you have a car that is yours. Here".
I had to hide my tears of compassion, love, loss, and tenderness. It was a gift I still have to this day and it brought me more joy than any real car ever could.
Ironically, when Tommy was a grown man, and worked for a wrecker service, I needed a car again to travel to college for my Master's degree.
Tommy actually surprised me one morning with a real Toyota that he paid a customer for. He fixed the body perfectly. It ran flawlessly and looked great! It was my favorite real car because he, once again, gave it from love.
There are so many facets to my brother Tommy that our memories could fill a book. But this one just surfaced & I thought I would share it.
I miss you terribly, Tommy!
Forever your loving sister,
Mary

I first met Tom when I lived in Tulsa from late '91 to '94. We worked together at the Days Inn hotel. He was such a funny guy and we always had fun at work. We used to play guitar together and he would show me tips and tricks. He was such a talented musician !! When I moved back to Florida he came down and stayed for awhile. I really wish he would've stayed down here. I think he might have done better here. I loved Tom like a brother and am saddened and shocked at his death. I will always miss and remember Tom.

Tommy, without bias, I can say that you were the best guitarist and vocalist I ever heard in my entire life. No other professional ever came close to your genius talent. I pray you get to use it all you want in Heaven. I have no doubt that you are there, as you did everything possible to make sure that you would go. I thank Father Festus so much for all he did for you. He opened the doors of Heaven for you. May God bless you both! I love you brother! I miss you horribly, too!

Tommy has sat in D.L. Moss for over 2 years. But today he is free. He has not more pain. He can run, walk, and not make excuses for not being able to lift heavy things, not drive, etc.
Today, I know that Tommy can play his guitar in Heaven with the best of the best guitarists ever. What fun for him. He can also sing until his heart is content and not worry about arrhythmias, breath, or other associated things with his heart.
I am probably the only person, besides TomTom, on earth now that will miss Tommy. But that's okay. He gave me a life full of fear and fun and I gave him one of obsession and luxury. We were both Pisces. Need I say more.

Brother, it was just you and me at your wake. I enjoyed having you to myself but I'm afraid you couldn't hear what I had to say. I couldn't hear you either. But the love that I poured out had to have reached you, as yours reached me.
I have loved you since your birth and I will love you until the end of time, as I know it.
Your Sissy,
Mary
