Obituary of Carl Dale Barbee
Carl “Dale” Barbee, 63 years of age, of Locust Grove, OK, passed away on February 9, 2017, of Lung Disease.
Dale was born in Oklahoma City on April 25, 1953. He was a graduate of Del City High School and attended college at Rose State.
Dale retired from Local 64 Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers where he was a Journeyman Insulator. He also owned a Siding Installation company for many years. He enjoyed restoring old cars, turning wrenches for Top Fuel Funny Cars, shooting pool and telling jokes. Dale was known by many and was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved his family and talked of them often.
Dale is survived by his girlfriend, Tonia Humphrey of the home, his son, Jeremy Barbee and wife Shanta of Owasso, his daughter, Brandi and husband Ryan of Lake Jackson, TX, and Tonia’s children who considered him their dad, Baron Bradshaw of Tulsa, Billy Bradshaw of St. Louis, MO, and Amber Bowman of Groves, TX, 11 grandchildren, his mother, Maydell Barbee of Norman, his brother, Mike Barbee and wife Sharon of Norman, his sister, Anita Rector of Moore, several nieces and nephews, and numerous other family and friends.
Dale is preceded in death by his Father, Clifford Barbee, and son Ryan Barbee.
