Obituary of Estella Louise Abraham

On April 15, 1945 a lovely baby girl was born to Robert and Ada Knox and they named her Estella Louise Knox. Stella accepted Christ at an early age and she attended Tulsa Public Schools, graduating from Booker T. Washington. Stella was married to Jessie Lee Pickens Sr. and to this 35 year union, two sons were born, Jessie Lee Jr. and Eric Lamont. Stella later married Leon Abraham whom preceded her in death. Stella was a devoted Mother and a loyal member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. Stella was employed by Sand Springs Public Schools for over 33 years and loved her job. On February 7, 2017 Stella Louise Pickens Abraham was called to her eternal home. She was preceded in death by her father Robert, mother Ada, son Eric and great granddaughter Estella, four sisters; Idabell, Barbara, Elaine and Yolanda and three brothers; Fredroy, Robert and George. Leaving to cherish her precious memories are her son Jessie Pickens Jr, three beautiful granddaughters Brittani, Sonia and Erin (Eric), and a great grandson Eric (Sonia), brothers, Leroy, Kenneth, Raymond, sister Sandra and a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind two ladies dear to her heart are JoAnn Allen and Alene Young , her Calvary Baptist Church family and sand Spring Public School family.
