Obituary of Marion Michael Jackson

Marion “Mike” Michael Jackson passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017. Mike was born June 14, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Arthur and Mary Jackson. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Bill Jackson, Albert Jackson, John Jackson and one sister: Wanda Mathews. He is survived by three brothers: Walter Jackson, Ronny Jackson, Bobby Jackson and two sisters: Mary Stacey and Aliene Jackson, his son: Michael “A.J.” Jackson and wife, Rebecca Jackson, two grandchildren: Peyton Salsman and Kahnon Lane. Mike is also survived by a great nephew, Ott; a great niece, Allysa Jackson and numerous other nieces and nephews, family and friends. In Mike’s younger years he joined the military, served in the Vietnam Conflict and then was honorably discharged. After leaving the military, Mike made his career as a welder. He loved everything outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, horseback riding and going camping. He loved riding his motorcycle and attending rallies. Another past time of Mike’s was his ’68 Chevelle, which he really enjoyed restoring. Mike also loved his family. “Mike, we love you and you will be greatly missed.”
