Obituary of Joyce Darlene Foley

Joyce Darlene (Boggs) Foley was born in Glenpool, Oklahoma on April 2, 1942 to parents Harold and Agnes Boggs. She passed away March 7, 2017 at the age of 74. Joyce attended school in the Sapulpa School system from 1st through 10th grade and later attained her GED and went to nursing school. She was proud of her career as a nurse and enjoyed caring for people. She married Jerry Bell in 1958 and the couple had 3 children. Eventually the couple went their separate ways and in 1968 she married the love of her life, Bill Nourse. He was a very special addition to the family, adopting Joyce’s children and truly becoming their father. The couple was married for 13 years before he passed away. In 1981 she married Leroy Foley and they were together, until his death, for 25 years. Joyce was preceded in death by her first born son, Ricky Don Bell; her parents Harold and Agnes Boggs; her husband Bill Nourse; and husband Leroy Foley. She is survived by daughter Lorrie Brewer; son Billy Neil Nourse and wife Debbie Ledbetter; granddaughters Ashley Brewer and husband James Durbin and Rachelle Brewer; great-grandchildren Zoe Brewer, Savanah Durbin, Jackson Durbin, Neila Nourse and Kayleigh Nourse; brother Randy Boggs; and sister Sandy Blaylock; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joyce loved her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren so much. She loved all of her family so much and she left the following words to remind everyone that family is always family. Memorial Services are scheduled at 2:00 pm Friday, March 10, 2017 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
