Darla,
We heard your mom had passed and wanted to send our love and condolences. She was a fine lady. I have very good memories of her and your pop and you and Michael. Be well.

Carolyn, Darla and Michael,
We were just told today about Aunt Barbara and are so saddened by your loss.
We loved Aunt Barbara! She was funny, intelligent and so caring. We loved the few visits we were able to make to Sapulpa and we now regret that we didn't make more.
We know that you are not strangers to loss, but we pray that God will give you peace and comfort.
We love you and our prayers are with you all.
Love,
Mike and Linda

Barbara was indeed a very special friend.
If Barbara were here to talk to us, we think she might say,
"Death is nothing at all. It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was.
I am I and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly
together is untouched and unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always did.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolutely an unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval,
Somewhere near and just around the corner.
All I well.
I thank God for all the great memories that I have of Barbara and her children.

Darla and Michael, so sorry for you loss. I wish I had got out to see Aunt Barbara over the years. She was a wonderful person, she did so much for me and so many others. She will be missed tremulously.

I love you great granny Barbara. You are the most amazing woman, mother, grandmother and great grandmother I know. I'll miss you always and I'll cherish every memory I have of you forever. There is so much I wanted to tell you and I'll make sure to tell you everything when we see each other again. Thank you granny, for everything.

Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep
By Mary Elizabeth Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints in the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
For my grandmother. You are everywhere now and I will not forget.
