Obituary of Shannon Michelle Vickers

Shannon Michelle Vickers, 50, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017. Shannon was born June, 9, 1966 in Tulsa, OK to Sharon Dunn and Michael Hart. She grew up in Oologah, OK and graduated from Oologah High School with the class of 1984. Shannon loved children and provided childcare for many individual families and also in a daycare setting. Her loving care resulted in lifelong bonds and friendships still today. Shannon also worked in the clerical field for Communication Graphics, Inc. in Broken Arrow, OK. She moved to Napa, CA in 1990 to work as a Secretary for Altamura Enterprises. After moving back to Oklahoma, she married Scot Vickers of Collinsville and gave birth to Joseph Still Vickers in 1995. Joseph was her absolute greatest love and joy in life. Shannon later was married to Brent Monroe of Collinsville. She is survived by her son Joseph Still Vickers, Collinsville. Her parents, Sharon Dunn and husband Greg Dunn of Collinsville and Father, Michael Hart of Collinsville. A brother, Shayne Hart of Collinsville and a sister, Sherri Holly and husband, Clay of Talala. Grandmother, Daisy Ritchie of Claremore along with numerous loved family members and cherished friends. Shannon considered anyone she met a friend. She was an inspiration and blessing to every life she touched. She was an earthly blessing and now has her heavenly prize. Services are scheduled at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at First Assembly of God Church in Collinsville.
