Obituary of VERRELL WILLIAMS

Verrell Williams was born December 5, 1925 to Hosea and Anna Roberson. Verrell married McKinley Williams in 1948 and then settled in Mounds, Oklahoma. To this union, one child was born who preceded them in death. Mrs. Williams was a nurse and homemaker who enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing and taking care of her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Church of God in Beggs, Oklahoma. Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her parents, Hosea and Anna Roberson; husband, McKinley Williams; daughter, Betty Jean Williams; and four brothers, Bishop Matthew Roberson, Willie Roberson, Charlie Roberson and Hosea Roberson, Jr. Surviving Mrs. Roberson are: three brothers, Cornelius Roberson and wife, Cherry of Saginaw, MI, Floyd Roberson and wife, Florence of Mounds, OK, and Carl Roberson of Mounds, OK; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
