Obituary of Joseph G Baumer

Joseph G. Baumer of Kellyville went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2017 at the age of 79.  He was born March 27, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Clarence and Elizabeth (Erwin) Baumer.

Joseph was a retired painter.  He loved people and he never met a stranger.  He liked dogs, he enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, listening to old country gospel music and he loved Jesus. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Elizabeth Baumer; wife Lina Baumer; son Paul Baumer; son Anthony Baumer; and daughter Tawna Baumer.  He is survived by children Joseph Baumer, Jr.; Rick Baumer and wife Dana of Sapulpa; Tracy Thomas and husband Phil of Kellyville; Darren Baumer and wife Brandy of Maumelle, AR; sisters Glenda Dandridge and husband James of Tahlequah; Mallory Higgins and husband Gene of The Colony, TX; brother Don Baumer of Tulsa; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Visitation is scheduled Sunday, July 2nd, from 1 - 8 p.m. at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel. A private family burial will take place at a later time. Arrangements by Green Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, Sapulpa
