Obituary of Coleman O Rogers

Coleman O. Rogers was born on December 27, 1952 to Coleman and Bonnie Rogers.  He went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2017 at the age of 64.  He passed away at home with his wife, son Tommy and grandson Kyle at his side.

Coleman enjoyed traveling around to different states, taking his nieces and nephews to amusement parks across the country.  They visited Disney World, Disney Land and Gatlinburg as well as many more.  He liked taking care of his pool during the summer.  It was always clean and he was really proud of it.  He loved going to Blue Hole and other creeks he and his wife came across during their travels.

He did a lot of traveling on his bikes over the years.  He competed in Trials Bike Competitions, placing either 1st or 2nd in each one that he competed in.  He did many tricks that were very scary to watch.

Coleman was preceded in death by his mom, dad, sister Cola Jean Rogers and brother David Wayne Rogers.  He is survived by his wife Dede of the home; niece and nephew Marissa and Zachary of the home; son Tommy Rogers of Abilene, KS; son Danny Rogers of Luther, OK; 5 grandchildren, Danielle, Adam, Heaven, Gabe and Kyle; 2 great-grandchildren and his 2 dogs Mac and Sissy.

The family wants to send a big thanks and their gratitude to Rose Rock Hospice for all the compassion and care they gave to him during his illness.

Funeral Services are scheduled at 10:00 am Monday, July 17, 2017 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation is scheduled on Sunday from 1-8 pm at Green Hill.  The family has entrusted the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.  9182242312 / www.greenhillok.com
