Obituary of Ray Doris Noble Jr.
Ray D. Noble Jr 77 passed away peacefully July 29, 2017 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Ray was born July 15, 1940 to Ray and Evelyn (Montgomery) Noble in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Ray was the oldest of six children. He graduated from Booker T. Washington in 1958. Ray served in the U.S. Army after finishing high school.
He met his beautiful bride to be, Hattie Howard in 1960, and they married in 1961.
Ray began a long career in the oil industry where he worked as a supervisor and operator. He worked for more than 30 years until his retirement in 1990. Ray loved to spend time with his family and friends, and he was an avid pool player.
Ray is survived by his wife, Hattie; son, Terrence Noble and wife Kimberly ; three daughters, Melva (Noble) Franey and husband Eric, Pamela K. Noble, and Terri (Noble) Marshall; grandchildren, Terry, Jr., Bryan, Shaughnessy, Carrigan, Carla, Imani, Archie Ray and Evan; one brother, Darnell; sisters, Patricia Jones and Doris Green; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Saundra Kay and a brother, Carnell.
Ray D. Noble Jr. is entrusted to Green Hill Funeral Home where a Memorial Service will be held on August 4, 2017 from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. The burial will be scheduled for a later date at Fort Gibson Cemetery, Fort Gibson, OK.
A life well lived….a life well spent…his legacy continues.
