Arline was a remarkable lady who was a very special friend to my family. She and Bob and my parents were neighbors, and did many things together as couples and as church members. They shared each other's lives over many years. The spaghetti dinners that Arline and my mother made for church events are epic. The two families were active in missions together at the church, and active with a fishing pole at the lake.
Arline always treated our family with wonderful deserts on the holidays when the family gathered. And those of us who would come to Ardmore for the occasions learned to love her and Bob as Mom and Dad did.
I speak for the Ayers family as we honor the life of Arline and mourn her passing.
