Obituary of Paula Patricia Shervington

Paula Patricia Shervington was born February 25, 1948 in Georgetown, Guyana, South America to parents James and Martha Thomas.  She passed from this life to her Heaven Home on August 1, 2017.

Paula was the 3rd of five children born to James and Martha.  Her siblings include Myrtle Watson, Rudolph Thomas, Terry Thomas, and Lyndon Thomas.  She worked at Saint Francis Hospital for 25 years, most of those years in the Newborn Nursery.  She loved children, animals, music, singing, dancing, gardening and traveling but most of all she enjoy spending time with loved ones.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents James and Martha Thomas; husband Wilfred Shervington; son Troy Shervington; and two brothers.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter Margarita Ruggles and husband James of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son Ryan Shervington of Los Angeles, California; 2 granddaughters, Danielle Burks and Brittany Warner; one great-granddaughter Kamryn Burks; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mommy had FAITH as high as the highest mountain and deep as the deepest sea;

Mommy had HOPE that all would be well in her life – that God would provide;

Mommy had unwavering, unconditional LOVE for us all.
