Obituary of Michael Philip McLane

Michael Philip McLane, 67, of Mannford, passed away August 14, 2017.  He was born in Springfield, Missouri to Charles Robert Edward and Maudie Grace (Critzer) McLane.

Michael graduated from high school in Springfield, MO and received an Associate in Applied Science in Tulsa.  He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam as an Air Medic and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.  Michael married Patricia Lewis on October 17, 1987 at Christ the King Catholic Church, Tulsa, OK.  He was employed as Frisco/BNSF railroad carman and railplant management.  He enjoyed working on old cars, golfing and reading.  He also was a part of the DAV and Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by parents Charles & Maudie McLane, brothers: Robert McLane, Maurice Benedict McLane, Christopher Paul McLane, John Henry McLane and Thomas Charles McLane. Also other family: Debbie McLane, Katie McLane, Peggy Wiley and Tammy Garoutte.

He is survived by wife Patricia Lewis-McLane, children: Misty Lyn McLane, Michael Jacob McLane (Laura). Grandchildren: Julianna, Oscar and Dakota McLane, Pets Princess, Maxmillion and Bubba. Siblings: Mary Garoutte, Cathy Ownby (Dale), Peggy Rowe (Roy), Becky McLane, William McLane (Roberta), Stephen McLane (LuAnne) and Timothy McLane. Sisters-in-law: Kathy McLane, Clara McLane, Beverly McLane and Wanda McLane as well as multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.

Memorial Services re scheduled at 10:00 am Friday, August 18, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Sapulpa) with Father Louis Obirieze officiating.  Donations can be sent to Tulsa DAV or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Special Thanks to Tito Razdan, MD, Charles Garrett, MD, Ananad Udupa, MD, Robert Gold, MD and William Briggs, MD, home health nurse Stephanie and nursing staff of Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, VA and Muskogee Home Based Primary Care.
