Although the sun isn't shining as brightly as before, Heaven is aglow with Morris' arrival. Throughout his life's journey, he has touched many lives and made our own journey more pleasant and our burdens much lighter. May his family be embraced during this most difficult time.

The Final Salute
Brothers in Arms, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged Hand Salutes as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This Hand Salute is the last that we shall render to Morris Henry Noftsger our Brother-in-Arms. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Morris. To Morris it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country while serving in the U.S. Army. Morris, we commend you for your honorable service. You are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country. You were a true friend. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
MSG Steve Becker, U.S. Army Reserve (Retired)
Julie and Family,
I am truly sorry for your great loss. It has been many years since we've seen each other, but that has meant that you, Morris, or your family hasn't come to my mind from time-to-time. Each of you are in my prayers.
Probably the last time I saw Morris was after he had joined the Army and had come back to the Grand River-Kellerton area on leave. I was probably still in junior high and still full of questions which he answered the with great patiences. To me then, and even today, anyone who served or is serving is a hero in my eyes. Rest In Peace, Brother!

I am sincerely sorry for your loss. I got to know Morris when he and the Patriot Guard came to Pawnee for my Aunt Rowena's services. he impressed my tribal elders when he wanted to say her Indian name when presenting the Patriot Guard Plaque. So I took him to one of the elders and he taught Morris how to say it. He wanted to learn more of the Pawnee language and culture so whenever we got
together, I would teach him how to say different words in Pawnee and share our ceremonies with him. Morris was a good friend and mentor to me. He will always be my brother. He will be truly missed. As my elders have taught me, Morris may be gone but not forgotten. He is with Attius (GOD) watching over us.
In my native language:
Nowa-itu (Thank you my brother)
Ta-ta-iks-ta (Love you)
