Obituary of Rose M. Woodrow

 

Rose M. Woodrow came into this world January 22, 1922, as one of eight children born to Ike and Jenny Howard. A strong and independent soul, she served as the matriarchal anchor for her family and a loving friend anyone could turn to. Rose was a graduate of Chilocco Indian School, a proud member of the Muscogee Creek nation, and an avid bowler. Upon retiring from Big Heart Pipeline, she would often be found traveling, working in her yard, and spending time with her loved ones.

Rose heard the Heavenly Fathers call to return home October 4, 2017.

Rose is proceeded in death by her parents, Ike and Jenny Howard, her seven siblings, husband Whitey Woodrow, son Vincent Wright, and great-grandson Robby O’Connor.

She is survived by her niece Judith Sawyer and grandchildren Gene and Ginger Wright, Kelly O’Connor, Patrick and Christina Wright, Megan Newton, Andrew and Kammi Kenney, Brad and Johnna Maestas, Alicia and Bobby Creason, Caleb O’ConnorRose M.
