Obituary of LINDA FRIEND

Linda Carol Friend was born April 25, 1944 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She left this earth to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ on October 27, 2012 surrounded by family and friends. At the age of 68, her beautiful smile showed us, she had no pain. Linda was the first born to C.E. and Florene Ockerman. She had a younger sister, Sandy Barnhart who loved her very much. She also had two children, Howard Pierson and Heather Whisenhunt; they loved her and thought she was a wonderful and caring mother. Linda graduated from Glenpool High School and attended Seminole Junior College. Later she went to Central Tech in Sapulpa. She worked as an ONHL Home Health Aid for 21 years. She had a passion for working and always helping others. She made a positive difference in many lives and she will be missed until we see her again in Heaven. We know she's looking down on all of us, making sure we remembered her the way she was.
