Obituary of Shirley J Holland
Shirley Holland passed away in Tulsa on 11/12/17 due to respiratory issues after surgery. At the time of her passing, Shirley was 80 years old and a resident of Sapulpa, OK.
Shirley was born on 3/20/37 in Tulsa, OK to Erving and Florence Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her sister JoAnn Bullard and brother Johnny Lawrence. She is survived by her sisters and their spouses Freda and Joe Camp and Margenia Hancock. Shirley married Richard Sandridge, who also preceded her in death, and had six children. She was preceded in death by her husband, children, Terry Poyner and JoLee Sandridge. Shirley married Raymond Holland who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her children and their spouses or loved ones Ricky Sandridge, Ervin Sandridge, Sandy and Darrel Spencer and Randy Sandridge and Colleen Ebardt Castillo. Shirley was blessed with a large family including eight grand kids, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Shirley had several jobs during her life, but the one she enjoyed the most was home health nurse. She also enjoyed playing softball and baseball, camping, campfire, cookouts, riding motorcycles, gardening, spending time with her family and watching football. Shirley was also known to her friends and family as “Squirrely Shirley”.
Shirley was a preparing deaconess at Brookhaven Christian Church in Tulsa and enjoyed fellowship at church. In conclusion, a quote from Shirley you would see at the bottom of her notes or cards was “May God Keep and Be With You Always”.
