We have lots of memories of Chucky. Most racers in this area do. I can remember Chucky being at Tulsa Speedway back in the day. He was always a constant sight at the pit shack before the races. Over the years, we just get used to seeing him there. No matter how hot it would be, he would be one of the first ones there - ready for the races. He just loved being out there. We loved our pre-race talks. Discussions of what was going to happen that night, or the next week. Little things. It sure will not be the same without seeing Chucky's smile, it sure was contagious. No matter what was going on at the time, seeing and talking to him would brighten everyone's day.
Miss you my friend. Fly high, and enjoy those heavenly races!
Nancy, he sure touched a lot of hearts over the years. Thank you for sharing him with us. Please accept our deepest condolences and prayers of peace for you during this time.
