Obituary of Rhonda Ree Hendrix
Rhonda Ree Canady was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 2, 1954 to parents Truman and Dzidra Canady. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Leroy Hendrix, and the couple had 39 years together. She went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2017 and greeted her husband in Heaven, exactly 3 years after his passing.
Rhonda was outgoing and loved being around people. She always worked and held many jobs over the years. She was a job coach at SHOW, she did janitorial work, worked as a waitress and worked in nursing homes. She loved her coffee and had to have it every day. She liked to stay busy. She kept her house immaculate and enjoyed bowling with family when she was younger and loved to dance. She liked Michael Jackson and wouldn’t let anyone say a bad word about him. She read people magazine and loved to keep up with actors and actresses. Rhonda enjoyed watching game shows, playing dominoes, cards, Yahtzee, Aggravation, Family Feud or other games. More than anything she was devoted to her family. She loved her husband Bob, her daughters and her grandchildren. She spoiled the grandkids and enjoyed playing with them.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents Truman Harden Canady Sr. and Dzidra Canady; her loving husband Bob Hendrix; 5 brothers – Dennis, David, Darrell, Danny and Dean; niece Jennifer Padgett and nephew Dustin Canady. She leaves behind 2 daughters, Marla Palmer and husband Jon; and Melissa Ferrell and husband Steve; grandchildren Taylor Medrano, Larry Martinez and Garrett Gann; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation- 4:00pm-8:00pm Friday December 29, 2017 at Green Hill Funeeral Chapel Sapulpa.
Funeral Services- 11:00am Saturday December 30, 2017 at Green Hill Funeral Chapel Sapulpa.
Final Resting Place- Kelyville City Cemetery.
