My prayers are with the family. I met Melissa in 1979 and from then to now, she was the sweetest person I knew. She was, as her obit indicates, so devoted to her family. I've never known another to be as proud of her girls as what she was - and it showed in everything she said and did. And oh how she loved her husband. The last time I saw her was probably about a year ago. We didn't have intertwined lives, but we had many encounters around the Mounds / Sapulpa area over the past several years. She was a sweet sister-in-law all those years ago and became a sweet friend in later years. No matter how much time elapsed between conversations, she was always the same sweet Melissa. My heart aches for the family, the husband, the daughters, the siblings, and all the nieces and nephews that loved her. To God Be the Glory for allowing us to know and love Melissa.
