Franklin Leon Thompson was born in Davenport, Oklahoma to proud parents, Julius and Martha Thompson. He graduated from Kiefer High School in Kiefer, Oklahoma. After graduating he joined the Navy and served four years during the Korean War. While living in California he was set up on a blind date with Laura Fairchild. Three months later they were married. After a year of marriage and the birth of their first child, they moved back to Frank's home state of Oklahoma, where they raised their two daughters and enjoyed 55 years together. Frank is preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Julie Womack; loving wife, Laura Thompson; brother, Raymond Thompson; sisters, Dorothy Buffington and Kathryn Miller. He is survived by his youngest daughter, Susan Stout; son-in-law, Joe Womack; his five grandchildren, Arielle Ormsby and Trez Wilson; his sisters, Ruth Rackley, Evelyn Gilley and Margaret Thompson and a dear friend Dara Wood.
