Abraham "Boyd" Acree was born April 18, 1938 in Sapulpa Oklahoma to Abraham and Vera Acree. He was the youngest of three children. He enlisted in the Marine Corp after graduating from Sapulpa High School and served two years. He worked for various glass manufacturers for most of his life and retired from Liberty Glass in Sapulpa in 2003. He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years Judy of the home, their two children, Susan Gaylene Barrett and husband Ted of Broken Arrow OK, Tony Acree and wife Angela of Bixby, OK; five grandchildren Nikki Toloczko, Alex and Evan Kuck, Alex and Mckayln Acree and one great granddaughter, Olivia Toloczko, his brother Rex Acree and wife Jan and many nieces and nephews. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents Abraham Acree and Vera Acree and his brother Jackie. Boyd was an avid golfer, fisherman and voracious reader of westerns and spy novels. He loved crossword puzzles, Suduko and crytoquotes and did them every day. He was a huge fan of OU football and loved to watch golf on TV. He was a fantastic storyteller and the family historian. He also loved playing Dominoes with his brother Rex and cousins Eugene and David Martin. He loved a good joke and loved telling them and sharing a laugh. He was a member of Canyon Road Baptist Church and especially loved his Sunday School class. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
