Obituary of CALVIN PATTERSON

Calvin Gideon Patterson was born in Jennings, Oklahoma on October 29, 1926 and made his glorious entrance into Heaven in the precious arms of our Savior on December 27, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 86. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He was a member of South Heights Assembly of God Church in Sapulpa for more than 50 years. He loved attending church functions and reading his Bible. Calvin served in the US Army during World War II. He retired from Natkin & Company in Tulsa in 1988. Calvin is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Maureen Patterson of 48 years. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Emma Patterson, three brothers, Clarence, Frank and Earl Patterson. He is survived by three brothers, Ralph, Charles (Wes), and Leroy Patterson. He is also survived by 4 sisters, Syble Sweden, Clara Tapp, Rebecca Patterson, and Lilly Kellogg. He is survived by his four children, Claudia Holloway, Theresa Morgan, Cheryl Baker and John Patterson. He has seven grandkids, Chris Morgan, Misty Macal, Timothy and Stephen Holloway, Jeremy Baker, Kelli Linke and Jessica Huggins. Calvin has 9 great grandchildren, Brandon and Brooklyn Macal, Holden, Emmitt, Logan Linke, Grace and Sawyer Baker, Wyatt Patterson-Voeller, and Jaida Huggins and Wesley Elliott. He also has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be 1:30 Thursday, January 3, 2013 at South Heights Assembly of God Church, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Casket Bearers will be Wayne Patterson, Perry (Bubba) Morgan, Jr., David Baker, Jeremy Baker, Timothy Holloway and Stephen Holloway. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
