"Shirley Ann Matthewson was born in Coweta, Oklahoma on April 17,1941 the daughter of Henry and Ollie Mae Barok. She passed from this life on January 10, 2013 in Tulsa at the age of 71. Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Shirley was a retired telecommunications operator for Saint John's Medical Center. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; sister Mary Muns; and granddaughter Emily Boswell. She is survived by son Jim Stepp of the home; son Terry Stepp of Tulsa; daughter JoAnn and husband Ray Marvin of Sapulpa; daughter Kelly Studer of the home; son Kenny and wife Robin Boswell of Sand Springs; former son-in law Bill Studer of Sand Springs; brother Don Barok of Missouri; sister Glinda and husband Bill Cooper of Sand Springs; brother David and wife Janey Barok of Sand Springs; brother Gary Barok of Sand Springs; and one sister of Tulsa; and grandchildren Ashley and James Stepp of the home. Additionally Shirley had twelve other grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, nineteen nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 18807 W Wekiwa Rd Sand Springs, OK, Saturday, January 26 2013, at 3:00 pm."
