Obituary of EARNEST DOTSON

Earnest Ray Dotson went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2013 at the age of 75. He was born on November 7, 1937 to George and Ruby Dotson in Bristow, Oklahoma. Ernie was retired from Texaco Oil Company where he worked in the Oil Fields as a pumper. In his younger years he loved to fish and hunt in Deep Fork where he grew up. He leaves behind his daughter, Bridgette Gower of Tennessee; his grandson, Michael Odell of Kellyville; his granddaughter, Kristal Gusha of Oklahoma City; daughter, Jennifer Dotson of California and Grandson Lars of California. He is also survived by a sister, Lorraine Kerby of Bristow; two brothers, Bobby Dotson of Texas and Billy Gene Dotson of Coweta; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Ernie is preceded in death by his daughter, Belinda Odell, his parents, George and Ruby Dotson, and his sisters, Ruth, Beaula, Alice and Lois. The family would like to thank Tranquility Hospice and Rainbow Health Care Center for their care and support. Service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at The First Freewill Baptist Church of Bristow. Burial will follow at Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
